Salam is a Jordanian qualified lawyer with multiple academic accreditations in civil law and common law jurisdictions. Salam has 15 years of experience in the UAE. He worked more than a decade with Allen & Overy LLP and Latham & Watkins LLP in the UAE. His highly accomplished academic background and experience highlight his outstanding proficiency in structuring and advising clients on complex UAE commercial disputes, financing, shareholder disputes, white collar crimes, debt recovery, all types of security interests in the Gulf Coorperative Council (GCC) region, and corporate restructuring transactions.

Salam regularly advises on commercial contracts associated issues of UAE law and some of his clients include lenders, governments and top companies throughout the Middle East. Salam continues to advise international financial institutions and companies encompassing corporate, commercial, financing, bankruptcy and regulatory matters in the UAE.

In May 2023, Salam has been accredited as an insolvency and bankruptcy practitioner by the Financial Reorganization Committee of the UAE Federal Ministry of Finance.
